500 Wild Weekends Twitter Giveaway!

We've been having a blast connecting with all of our fabulous followers on Twitter, and we'd love to meet new followers too! At midnight on October 16th, we're launching a huge room giveaway to say 'thanks' to everyone who already follows www.twitter.com/RioVegas and encourage new followers to join the party.

Our 500 Wild Weekends room giveaway is exactly what it sounds like - we're giving away up to 500 first prizes of two-night stays at Rio (subject to blackout dates and availability). Prizes will be awarded periodically to followers who tweet with the #RioVegas hashtag as the follower count of @RioVegas grows. The more folks following @RioVegas, the greater your chance of winning!

If our followers hit 20,000 by December 4, 2009, we'll be giving away one grand prize VIP Rio New Year’s package! The grand prize package includes a four-night stay including airfare credit for two people ($500/person), limo transportation to and from McCarran airport, two tickets to Penn & Teller, dinner for two at the rooftop Voodoo Steak and admission to Voodoo Lounge with bottle service on New Year’s Eve, admission for two to the Chocolate Lounge at the Rio Wine Cellar, plus an additional $200 in dining and $200 in spa credits.

500 Wild Weekends is going to be huge! Entering is simple. Here are the rules:

1) Become a follower of @RioVegas on Twitter
2) Use hashtag #RioVegas in any of your tweets, starting October 16th until the promotion ends (promotion ends December 4 OR when @RioVegas reaches 20,000 followers, whichever happens first). You can enter every day!
3) As @RioVegas' following hits the goals above, we'll draw first and grand prize winners, and alert winners via Twitter Direct Message. You'll have 48 hours to respond and collect your prize!
